2012 Annual Support Campaign
The Annual Support Campaign is a volunteer-driven effort to raise the funds needed to provide program support and financial assistance to children, families and active older adults in the downtown San Diego Community. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of the inability to pay, we truly need your help.
As a benefactor, you are ensuring that everyone is given the opportunity to benefit from programs that teach principles that will positively impact their lives and our community.

Stories
- Ricardo was able to forget about his family's difficulties for a bit while participating in the Physical Education Program.
" In P.E., we do a lot of fun stuff with our coach," remarks Ricardo. "Me and all the kids love to go to P.E. Our P.E. coach is the best; we play good games and all of us have fun."
- Christie wants to be an Olympic Gold Medalist because of her experience with YMCA Summer Camp.
"Now on my softball team, I am a center, left and right fielder and soon to be a pitcher" remarks Christie. "[S]oftball camp inspired me to want to become a college softball player and Olympic gold medalist."
- Keisha now takes pride in being a leader and giving her all after attending a YMCA career luncheon.
"I used to make bad choices," Keisha acknowledged, "but now i have turned my life around and changed my act. I take pride in being a leader and doing my best."

Levels of Giving
$10/Month
- Sponsors four middle school students to participate in Career Luncheons.
$20/Month
- Helps sponsor membership assistance for a Senior Adult which helps them stay healthy and independent.
$50/Month
- Allows up to fourteen kids to attend a session of gymnastics, dance or cheer.
$100/Month
- Supports development of tomorrow's leaders.
$200/Month
- Allows two high school students to participate in the YMCA Youth and Government Program for one full year.
$300/Month
- Provides a Free Fitness Class, three times a week, to help Senior Citizens maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
$500/Month
- Gives thirteen youth the experience of a lifetime at YMCA's Camp Marston, our resident camp in Julian where the kids get to experience nature, hike, canoe, swim and even climb a rock wall.

Annual Support Strong Kids Campaign
Our Campaign Goal
Membership and program fees at the YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs.To ensure that no one is turned away because of inability to pay, we truly need the help of volunteers and donors like yourself.
Through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign,your contribution helps us provide program support and financial assistance to families who need it in our community. By working together, we give all kids the opportunity to grow stronger in spirit, mind and body.
