Y donate to our Toy Drive this month?

During the holidays, everyone is prone to being swept away by the frantic and joyous act of buying for and receiving gifts from our loved ones. However, it is easy while in this daze to forget that there are so many people who cannot afford toys for their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters.

This holiday season, the Downtown YMCA is hosting a toy drive that will benefit the low-income and at-risk youth and families in Downtown San Diego.

We hope to reach a record number of children, but we cannot do this without the help of all of our members. Changing a life is as simple as bringing one new toy with you when you workout. We will have a bin set up for donations in the lobby, so that you can drop off your toy before you exercise.

If you think the endorphins from exercising alone are good, you will be overwhelmed by how you feel when you care for your health and low-income children.
